"Television and radio broadcasting network of Armenia" Closed Joint-Stock Company (hereinafter referred to as the Company) was established in 1957 as the operating body of a unified system for the broadcasting of television and radio programs in Armenia.

By Decision No. 362-A of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, dated April 7, 2011, the Company was entrusted with the functions of creating, maintaining, and operating the digital broadcasting network, which is considered state property of the Republic of Armenia.

The Company operates under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia.
Since 2016, digital television has been implemented in Armenia and is now fully operational, using the DVB-T2 standard. This technology enables viewers to receive high-quality video and audio, while also offering additional functional features such as the Electronic Program Guide (EPG).

Our Mission

Our mission is to develop and operate the technical infrastructure for television and radio broadcasting, provide terrestrial broadcasting and telecommunications services, as well as ensure the installation and maintenance of partner organizations’ technical equipment at the TRBN stations. We contribute to the implementation of modern communication technologies and ensure the reliable, high-quality, and continuous technical support of television and radio broadcasts—strengthening the connection between the state and society.

Our Vision

To become the leading digital broadcasting organization in Armenia, ensuring full coverage of high-quality digital television and radio broadcasts throughout the country. By utilizing the potential of the television tower and infrastructure, contribute to the development of communication, technological progress, and the strengthening of public engagement.

Strategic Directions

  • Development of digital radio through the implementation and nationwide rollout of the DAB+ standard in Armenia.
  • Technological modernization through the continuous upgrade of broadcasting equipment and infrastructure, including the illumination of the TV tower to enhance visibility, branding, and technological progress.
  • International cooperation aimed at establishing and strengthening partnerships with leading international organizations in the field by exchanging experience, knowledge, and innovative technologies—genuinely contributing to the development of digital broadcasting and radio in Armenia.
  • Transparent and efficient management by ensuring full transparency in the Company’s operations and introducing modern management tools and methods.
