History

1. On January 1, 1957, by order No. 97 of December 25, 1956, of the Ministry of Communications of the Armenian SSR, the Yerevan Television Center (YerTC) was established as part of the Armenian Republican Radio Center.

2. On August 3, 1965, the Yerevan Television Center was renamed the Armenian Republican Television Center (ARTC).

3. On September 1, 1975, the Armenian Republican Television Center was renamed the Armenian Republican Radio and Television Broadcasting Center (ARRTBC).

4. On April 1, 1977, by order No. 243 of April 1, 1977, of the Ministry of Communications of the Armenian SSR, the Armenian Republican Radio and Television Broadcasting Center was renamed the Republican Radio Broadcasting, Radiocommunications, and Television Hub (RRRTH).

5. On January 26, 1982, by order No. OK-10 of January 26, 1982, of the Ministry of Communications of the Armenian SSR, the Republican Radio Broadcasting, Radiocommunications, and Television Hub was renamed the Republican Radio and Television Broadcasting Center (RRTBC).

6. On July 13, 1992, by decision No. 399 of July 13, 1992, of the government of the Armenian SSR, the Republican Radio and Television Broadcasting Center was renamed the "Republican Radio and Television Broadcasting Center" State Enterprise of Special Importance ("RRTBC" SESI).

7. On December 20, 1995, by decision No. 113 of the government of the Republic of Armenia, the "Armenian Republican Radio and Television Broadcasting Center" State Enterprise of Special Importance was renamed the "Republican Radio and Television Broadcasting Center" State Enterprise ("RRTBC" SE).

8. On December 31, 1997, by decision No. 613 of December 30, 1997, of the government of the Republic of Armenia, the "Republican Radio and Television Broadcasting Center" State Enterprise was renamed the "Republican Radio and Television Broadcasting Center" State Closed Joint-Stock Company ("RRTBC" CJSC).

9. On April 15, 1998, by decision No. 238 of April 15, 1998, of the government of the Republic of Armenia, the "Republican Radio and Television Broadcasting Center" State Closed Joint-Stock Company was renamed the "Television Network of Armenia" State Closed Joint-Stock Company ("TNA" CJSC).

10. On April 26, 2002, by order No. 68 of April 26, 2002, of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Armenia, the "Television Network of Armenia" State Closed Joint-Stock Company was renamed the "Television Network of Armenia" Closed Joint-Stock Company ("TNA" CJSC).

11. On February 16, 2006, by decision No. 159-N of February 16, 2006, of the government of the Republic of Armenia, the "Television Network of Armenia" Closed Joint-Stock Company was renamed the "Television and Radio Broadcasting Network of Armenia" Closed Joint-Stock Company ("TRBNA" CJSC).
